Primitivo IGT Puglia 2019
Romans used to call “Merum” the wine that was distinguished and fine without any adding, the wine from which Primitivo directly descends. In Apulia they still use the dialect word “mieru” to indicate this honest and genuin wine.

Colour: Deep and brilliant red with garnet and orange tinge.
Nose: Intense in the notes of black berries, black cherry and riped Agostana plum, spicy in the finish. It reminds of mace but it remains smooth and full-bodied.
Taste: Rich in strong flavours skillfully softened by sweet tannins, conveing an embracing warm sensation.
Great dishes of the Italian tradition, braise and roasts, especially with herbs, enhance this wine characteristics.
